3rd Quarter Memory Verses

There are new Bible memory verses to learn in the 3rd quarter as we study the unit, The Last Days of Judah. The verses are from Jeremiah 17:7-10 and Psalm 103:8-12, both are from the New International Reader's Version (NIRV).

Memory Verse #1
7 “But I will bless anyone who trusts in me.
I will do good things for the person who depends on me.
8 They will be like a tree planted near water.
It sends out its roots beside a stream.
It is not afraid when heat comes.
   Its leaves are always green.
It does not worry when there is no rain.
   It always bears fruit.”
9 A human heart is more dishonest than anything else.
   It can’t be healed.
   Who can understand it?
10 The Lord says, “I look deep down inside human hearts.
I see what is in people’s minds.
I reward each person in keeping with their conduct.
I bless them based on what they have done.” Jeremiah 17:7-10 (NIRV)
Memory Verse #2

8 The Lord is tender and kind. He is gracious.
He is slow to get angry. He is full of love.
9 He won’t keep bringing charges against us.
He won’t stay angry with us forever.
10 He doesn’t punish us for our sins as much as we should be punished.
He doesn’t pay us back in keeping with the evil things we’ve done.
11 He loves those who have respect for him.
His love is as high as the heavens are above the earth.
12 He has removed our sins from us.
He has removed them as far as the east is from the west.

Psalm 103:8–12 (NIRV)
